The Power To Say I Can
In my practice I see a lot of patients who come to me to change old behaviors that are no longer working for them. These patterns and the way we live our lives is called, "Homeostasis". Your homeostasis is what your normal is, what feels right to you. Even if your homeostasis is dysfunctional, destructive and negative it is still your normal and you will always go back to it. The good news is that you can change your homeostasis to a positive, happy, productive state. There is evidence based research to prove this. You begin to change the neural pathways in your brain. Through therapy, I teach my patients to do this. It takes work, practice and courage. The results are not only amazing but the journey getting there is a beautiful process. It is the power within you to say I can.
